Is this real.  If so, I could see using the tech to catch would be meth lab or pipe bomb makers, but Gillette razor shoplifters?


Edit: I know RFID tech is real and is in use today, but was asking if it was actually used to take pictures of Gillette consumers/shoplifters.

Yes it's real, though the original story broke almost 2 years ago and they were pulled from shelves amid protest after a month.
