I wanted to get DDRMM recently, and I checked Gamestop. Sold out. Everywhere else, sold out. Does anyone know why there are no more MMs?

It's a conspiracy against all that funks.

Production of this game has been discontinued. Some auctions for this game are going above $170 on eBay!

Really?! How did this come about? I'm really surprised. :o

Not sure, I e-mailed Nintendo, but they didn't respond.

That makes two strikes (canceling Mario Mix and not answering an e-mail from MEGAߥTE). I wonder what their suicide stroke will be?

MEGAߥTE told me that a store employee told him that it was only discontinued temporarily. So if you're patient, you won't have to buy super-inflated price version of DDR:MM.

I found this to back up the store employee: http://gonintendo.com/?p=285

Yeah, I never said cancelled, only discontinued production. I've heard varying reports of what temporary means, anywhere from after the holidays to sometime in March to never.

In the Best Buy and Toys R Us's close to me, there a piles of DDRMM left. Not many Mario lovers in this area, maybe.
I got mine around Late-October.

I just want one for $50. not $180.

Sorry. Word choice failure.

Yeah, my parents heard from employees that they MIGHT get copies in March as they were searching for it.
