[thread split from the Bad TV Shows thread]
~I.S.

There's a lot of TV shows that I hate, but here's the three that I hate the most:

SpongeBob Squarepants - He's a homosexual. That's a bad influence for kids.
Fairly Odd Parants - It's too unrealistic.
Codename: Kids Next Door - They have a strange disorder that makes them hate anyone that's over 13.

GET THIS IGNORANCE

OUT OF MY SUB-FORUM

This isn't a gay-bash thread. It's a thread about shows you dislike -- I mean, if you don't like Spongebob, whatever, but I'm almost 100% sure that he was not designed as a gay character, and even if he were, so what? The children who watch it won't notice or care.

(More on topic post to come. I seriously can go on and on about the original topic.)

One Piece. Plain and simple.

Have you seen the undubbed version? It's way better.

There's a lot of TV shows that I hate, but here's the three that I hate the most:

SpongeBob Squarepants - He's a homosexual. That's a bad influence for kids.
Not true
Fairly Odd Parants - It's too unrealistic.
By this logic, you should hate almost every animated televsion program ever created.
Codename: Kids Next Door - They have a strange disorder that makes them hate anyone that's over 13.
They don't just hate everyone above 13. Watch the [darn] show more often and you'll understand.

I have never seen such ignorance, CTOAN.

Boy Meets World because usualy the episode plots always has something to do with girls and/or some thing that has to do with love.

^That's really immature.^  Also, I'm not a homophobe. I just think that gays are a bad influence for kids. And I highly doubt that there would ever be a show called "The Adventures of cantthinkofaname". Also, I have seen Kids Next Door. When I liked the show... when I was just a silly 9-year-old that also hated adults. But now I'm past that, and I respect adults. If kids hate adults, they don't have to start a giant league saying "We're kids and we're better than adults because adults hate kids". That's not true. Well, for most people that's not true. And about FOP, that show just blows unrealistic out of proportion. And Spongebob is gay, I have proof. Also, Spongebob dosn't even look like a sponge. He looks like a luffa that I get at Safeway.
Well, now that you mention it, what I just posted could be a pretty decent "Adventures of Cantthinkofaname". Well, at least to anyone over 13. *Pulls out Webcam*
LOL, that last part was just sarcasm.

Uh, they didn't just start a league saying they hate adults. If you paid any attention to the show you would know that the adults they fight are examples of tyrannical adults who mistreat kids.

And about FOP, that show just blows unrealistic out of proportion.

How? It doesn't seem any more unrealistic that any other animated series I've seen.

And Spongebob is gay, I have proof. Also, Spongebob dosn't even look like a sponge. He looks like a luffa that I get at Safeway.

The creator said himself that Spongebob is not gay. He's technically asexual. And keep in mind that Spongebob's creator is in fact a Marine Biologist.

Wow, you've somehow made me dislike you even more!

Anyone who says "Gays suck." is definitely a homophobe in one way or another. I agree with Steve, 100%. You're quite ignorant.
(Though you didn't say that in this thread, you definitely did say this, and I'm saying this to prove that you are.)

I just think that gays are a bad influence for kids.

That's an odd opinion. What makes you think they're a bad influence? Do you think they'll teach children how to become gay? Come on now. That's just stupid. Gay people are NOT the kind of people who'd teach stereotypically gay things (i.e. speaking with a lisp, wearing the latest fashions, etc.). They'd most likely try to teach regular things.

What's shown on South Park, however, is a different story.

And Spongebob is gay, I have proof.
Right. I KNOW the creator of the show denied that little factoid. Whatever "proof" you have is invalid. Spongebob is asexual.

Quote
Also, Spongebob dosn't even look like a sponge.
Okay.

Now, I dislike the show as well, but not because of YOUR reason (that Spongebob is apparently gay). I just find the show to be stupid in general, and not funny.

Even if Spongebob really WAS gay, I don't see what the problem would be in putting the show on a children's network. If children enjoy it, that's great. More money for Viacom. I'm quite sure it wouldn't make children grow up gay.

So, way to throw off the topic with a nonsensical opinion you think is fact.

True that, no one would watch it.

Are you implying loofahs are gay? I was unaware cleaning products reproduced at all... otherwise, we wouldn't have to go buy more, am I right?
* Bird Person opens the world's first Mr. Clean Magic Eraser farm.
I will say that SpongeBob jumped the shark some time ago, but nobody noticed. Maybe I just grew out of it... but the old ones are noticeably better than the new ones.
And one FINAL note, you clearly are homophobic. The "that's a bad influence on kids" is a big give-away. Just a-lettin' you know.
Eidt: One final final note, I'll restate that I do not watch TV. When your dad is quoting commercials instead of the actual shows, you know there's a problem. Turn it off. Turn it off.

Yes. There's a thread for shortsighted opinions about gays. The thread this WAS in is not that thread.
