This is why I stay away from the completely devoid of skill-based play Mario Party series.
That was a joke.

I know winning in MP8 is based totally on luck but I'll probably get suckered into playing MP9.

You can sometimes get 1 star at the end for skill.

Two stars if you count saving up coins and the mini-game star. Those two stars are usually what gives me the win. Okay, always.

Evil thing about 8, though, is that the bonuses change game to game. Sometimes it essentially is 100% luck, aside from if somebody boners up an item use or something.

My brother and I tend to trade off "DAH HA HAAAAs" whenever Mario Party 8 is mentioned.

MC Ballyhoo is my least favorite Mario character ever, right next to those accursed Cataquacks.

I got Mario Party DS for Christmas and it felt like a huge breath of fresh air. The game is better than Mario Party 8, 7, 6, 5 and 4 combined, though there are some elements from 5, 6 and 7 that I still like. Maybe I should one day do an Angry VG Nerd style review for each of these games and see which is the worst one of all.

Well, he favors for the winner, I don't think he's that bad, I mean, I've played story mode on Mario Party 8. Nothing wrong with it at all.

Oh and he's also mean for changing the last 5 round bonus name into *CHUMP CHARITY*
Time is repeating itself. Why you say? Look at the Wii and NES and you'll know why.

I wonder who thought up Mc Ballyhoo. I bet the conversation was awkward...

Random producer guy: "All right [insert Mc Ballyhoo creator's name here], we need a new character for Mario Party 8. He can't be an existing Mario creature and he has to look good for the kids. Any ideas?"

Mc Ballyhoo's creator: "Hm...I've got it! He'll be a cross between a very ugly fish and a human! He'll have huge lips, talk incoherently and to top it all off, he'll wear a talking hat with goofy eyes! How's that sound!?"

Random Producer guy: "...Darn it [insert Mc Ballyhoo creator's name here], you're a freaking genius!"

He also looks far too much like Chuck Quizmo, whom I think would be a perfect fit for Mario Party.

And then when he said his real name we were all disappointed.
Let's burn some stuff and call it science.
