The town of Hanover will soon have some new rules in place regarding yard sales. Starting May 1st, residents will be required to register any yard sales they wish to hold. Yard sales will be permitted three times a year, but only two dates may be consecutive. Municipal Law Enforcement Officer Ken Campbell says they'd been receiving complaints over some residents leaving their items on display for long periods.
