In this thread you have to poorly describe a movie and the rest of us have to guess it. I'll start:

"Three scientists and a black guy try to blow up a door."

Um...Die Hard? I'm going to hold off on my own quote since I'm probably wrong.

By the way, cool idea.

ShadowBrain · « **Reply #2 on:** August 04, 2010, 08:29:31 AM »

Ghostbusters.

PaperLuigi · « **Reply #3 on:** August 04, 2010, 09:07:25 AM »

ShadowBrain is correct.

Glorb, both you and SB can go ahead and post your quotes. The thread will stall if we wait for specific people, I think. If your quotes go a long time without being answered, just repost the quote.

Aight then.

"Keifer Sutherland kills himself for science."

I want to say Dark City, but... I don't know.

"Some kids with sticks try to find a rock under their school."

ShadowBrian's is obviously Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.

nensondubois · « **Reply #7 on:** August 04, 2010, 10:47:37 PM »

"kicking the bucket makes more than two, but many vie for wealth.

The Chef · « **Reply #8 on:** August 07, 2010, 02:10:17 PM »

Nenson your post makes no sense.

Here's mine:

"Two guys find dinosaur bones and the set from Blade Runner under New York"

Weegee · « **Reply #9 on:** August 07, 2010, 02:12:33 PM »

Super Mario Bros.

Han Solo goes on a treasure hunt.

Glorb · « **Reply #10 on:** August 07, 2010, 02:36:52 PM »

Indiana Jones [and the X]

My riddle's still up for solving.

ShadowBrain · « **Reply #11 on:** August 07, 2010, 04:01:01 PM »

I take it I was wrong, then.

Glorb · « **Reply #12 on:** August 08, 2010, 11:14:32 AM »

You were.

I tried to make a riddle so it wouldn't be too easy to figure out the movie, but I obviously failed.

Same movie:
Two truck drivers find some old guy dying on a mountain and before he kicks the bucket, the guy tells the two truck drivers about a large sum of money and just a short while later everyone and his brother becomes involved in the wild goose-chase that proves to be a colossal loss in the end.

It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World?

A bunch of freethinkers try to thwart Elrond's plans of world domination.
