Well there really isn't anything i like funnier then the otehr but here's a list.

-The Shy Guys allways running away
-Mario getting knocked down by Merlon's door
-Everything Jr.Troopa does
-When Mario sometimes trips when going into battle

I know i missed alot of stuff that are even funnier then this but i'm too lazy to think of them :)

Oh, this is probably really a spoiler, but I Found Fat Shy Guy's inital taste of the cake hilarious. I didn't see that coming. Also when the Ghost out of nowhere appears and scares that little Toad.
There were also a few little hints at earlier games, like after defeating the Goomba King, he flies into the air and hits the "hill" in the background, leaving a band-aid on it, just like when you defeated Castle Four in SMW.

Kweeh! Forget Whark! Kweeh! Is better!
Kweeh! Kweeh! Yes, Kweeh forever!

I don't think that was a bandage on the hill. It was that little spark of light that they use to make it look like they flew out of sight. SSB and the pokemon tv show do the same effect.

It's not a matter of optimism or pessimism, it's a matter of common sense! (half empty or half full?)

It's Gourmet Guy, not Fat Shy Guy. I wonder how he got up into Peach's castle. Did he shove himself into Merluvlee's magic chest?

I can't say because I suck at Paper Mario, but it is funny when Mario trips into battle. Mario getting ahead of himself, huh?

Oh, and please clear one thing up for me...

What is up with Mario waving his index finger after some battles? It's like ''don't mess with Mario!'' I don't get it, but I must say, it's better than the peace sign.
You didn't say wot wot.

Frostbite we know it's not Fat Shy Guy. We just forgot how to spell his name!

In Paper Mario, Mario has only four fingers. He can't do the peace sign without a middle finger, so he just does it with his pointer.

And they're blasting off again!:

Captain Syrup (Wario Land 2)
Goomba King (Mario Story)
Bowser? (Super Mario World)
Team Blocket (Pukemon cartoon)
Your defeated character (all Smash Bros. games so far)
Raphael The Raven (Super Mario Yoshi's Island)

Is this becoming a cliche already?

After all that Zelda-Shiek madness, I am beginning to think Peach is by far the coolest Princess around.
Agustín, The Sage Of Fungus.
