I think he ment 2001 games scnce we have very only one mario game of 2002 get it..SMW should count as SMA2 as well so Mama Mia Mario vote again with a game that is on the booths or make your own awards. My vote to Super Mario RPG! I got it yesterday ROM it has good grapics!

I made the awards a while ago, and I just kept forgetting to do my nominees. I have best graphics, sound, story-line, etc. Maybe I'll post my whole award show sometime!

Yoshi's Island. It looks very interesting because it looks like it was drawn by children. (Even if Luigi played a seemingly unimportant role inside it!)

Yoshi's Island is a superb game. It broke all boundaries of what people thought the Super Nintendo was capable of! It has some of the most beautiful graphics and best resolution of any other videogame I've played (along with Paper Mario!)... Characters are crisply drawn and very detailed. They move very fluidly and sometimes, it seems like your playing an interactive cartoon!

The sound effects are very cute and happy... And they can get kind of annoying after a while.

The music is extremely sharp and clear. The main theme of the game is filled with violin sounds and electic organ notes that sound like they were orchestrated with real instruments rather than a synthesizer!

In my opionion... Yoshi's Island, Paper Mario, and Super Mario RPG are some of the best games I've played!
