If you can beat Link's Awakening with 0 deaths(I have, piece o' cake), you SHOULD be able to at least BEAT OoT. I've finished it with 0 deaths. I almost died once on Dark Link in the Water Temple, his difficultly depends upon number of deaths, and a 0 death Dark Link is absolutely PERFECT in every way and every possible reflex(the only reason I won is because I had something he didn't......the Biggoron's Sword).

Never mind, I thought you were talking about Link to the Past, because of the "strange" number, I died 2 or so times on LoZ. But really, what is the strange number you get after beating Zelda 3, because THAT was the one I beat without dying and in two sittings.

Hmmmmmm... Maybe it is times you saved the game then? I mean... Hmmmmm.... That's odd.

(There are people who can play through it with a "0". I don't see how exactly you can do that. I mean, I beat SMW perfectly in one sitting... I died about 2 or 3 times total... but I cannot forsee myself beating that game in one sitting.)

I don`t suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it.

Sue successfull. I''d be looking forward to a lot of Japanese text in video games since their main translator quit for letting me push them around. Oh well, I could hire my own translator now!

Never mind, I don't think ANYBODY could could beat Zelda 1 without dying at least once.(see edited posted above)

What about Zelda 2? How many times you die on this really asks you how much your time is worth. I mean, I died about 20 or 30 times on this game before beating it without caring about that number, because my time is worth a bit to me. Think about it; if you TRY to gain every level but also save your pitiful total of 3 lives through as much as you could, you would be spending A LONG TIME on that game and only going through slowly, but if you just don't care and just "Game Over" yourself after level gaining sessions or getting something in a temple when you're weak and begging for mercy, the game will go a bit faster.

I'm really bad at Zelda games. Especially the original. I got to the Dark World in LttP, but after that it got too weird. I've only gotten a little past finding Saria in OoT... but I think the real reason is that I don't really care. I actually care about the characters in SFA... I think that's why I actually tried enough to beat it. But I don't really care about the Zelda characters... maybe it's because they don't present them in an urgent enough manner.
Hee hee... I'm still in my Fox persona...  I must be weird... but I mean, I dunno... Krystal seems so much more REAL to me. She's such a deep character (which is interesting considering she's brand new...) That's why I had to save her... hmm... I shall stop now for risk of incriminating myself. :-P

George Lucas sucks. He just had to go and f@ck up Star Wars. I just needed to get that out of my system.

How so? And if you don't edit your last post, I might.
All Star Wars stuff (except a few of the novels) rocks.
That was a joke.

How could George Lucas mess Star Wars up? He wrote them all.

Weekly Frostbite Quote #7:

"Darkness comes over the land,
The Night grabs us with its cold, sticky hand.
We beg the Night to let us go,
But it grabs us tighter, saying, `No.`
Then it stabs us in the head.
Because of Daylight Saving Time, we now are dead."

Let me amend what I said before:
All Star wars stuff rocks, except a few of the novels and some of the video games. (Dark Forces series comes to mind...)
That was a joke.

Just so people understand...

Robert Frost wrote the poem "Nothing Gold Can Stay."

It was merely in the outsiders, not something written by the author.

By the way I'm saving up for a GameCube.
Must get Super Mario Sunshine. You play it in the stores and then you're hooked!

Nature''s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf''s flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

"Humor,God''s Greatest invention."-Dark Lord Janus

"I am the guardian of the
forest.I am the guardian of the swamp.I am half bear, half
frog."-BearFrog
And then they split into two
one good, one evil. That is how Bearfrog and Tanas were formed. And Xtal was became BearFrog''s enemy.GrimSack raised BF in his sick way and the legend continues...

George messed up Star Wars and heres why. The original trilodgy just seemed more like an epic saga. I actually cared about the characters. In Episode I there was a complete lack of acting talant. Anakin was such an annoying little brat I wish I could shoot him. I could send Lucus to hell just for thinking of creating Jar Jar. The fx looked too cgi it all looked kinda fake if you ask me (the best example of this is the battle on Naboo) the battle droids were funny looking not fearsome like the storm troopers. Way too much comedy. Darth Maul looked like a pro wrestler the dual lightsaber that he used was just a bad idea. All of the Gungans were stupid. Last of all they could have put alot more story into it. It seemed dragged out unlike the original trilogy. Thats how he messed up Star Wars.

I couldn't DISAGREE more.
You obviously don't know what's really going on with Star Wars. And why would good old George even care if you didn't like it?
I'm sorry to say that you must be one of those overzealous people who call themselves "fans" but really aren't.
Yeah, well, this could start a flame war, and if it comes to that... editing time.
I don't understand why people didn't understand how good Episode I actually was. As is my motto (sometmes), you're not really a fan of something if you don't like what the GUY WHO CREATED IT does with it. He wrote Episode I before you (or I) were born. No fan actually has any say in what goes on. It doesn't matter if you didn't like it or not, because it was good, and you need to accept that, even if you didn't care for it.
That was a joke.

SWEET!

I didn't know anyone here liked Star Wars (I love it)

I know whacta mean.  TPM kinda disappointed me.  But, AOTC was an improvement (Jar Jar was only in there for about 2 and a half minutes)  and it resembled the original trilogy more.

My personal favorite: ESB

And Star Wars: Bounty Hunter is gonna rock!

What I'm wonderin' is about the NJO.  I mean, it's gonna finish I think in 2003 or 2004 and how it's going to end.  Everything points to the New Republic going down, but then what would they write about, more stories in the past?

It's sad in a few books how everyone dies (Chewie in Vector Prime and Anikan in Star by Star)

Down with the Yuzhan Vong!
