Alright... Waaaaay back when, when SMB3 first came out for NES, I was over at my neighboors house and I swear I remember him getting a crown on mario's head in the first world (green land).  The crown allowed mario to move to the left of the START block and there were some extra goodies on the left.  Does anyone out there remember how to do this?  Or do you guys think my memory is just so fubarred up I have no idea what I'm talking about?

You know not of what you speak.
That's "Grass Land".
Besides, everyone knows that Krystal is the coolest new character in any game since 1996 or so.

I figured, "why not?" so I put her on every topic.
Like, I remember you saying YOUR favorite Mario character was Link, so I think I deserve a little leeway.

That was a joke.

I haven't played the original NES version of Super Mario Bros. 3 in such a long time! Sorry I can't help you... Maybe once Nintendo FINALLY makes a Game Boy Advance version of SMB3 - then I might know what you are talking about.
People who like video games should also like Nintendo. People who don't like Nintendo obviously don't like video games.

I know a lot about smb3, but have never heard of that.  It would be cool, but I couldn't find anything in my allstars rom that looked like it.  Maybe its only on the original nes version.  Its sounds so cool though.  Maybe I will add an item like that to the game I am making.

Could it have been the 'cloud' instead of a crown.  The cloud let you go through things.  I will have to try it later.
