Ah Like, profanity is like.  Ah.  You know.  Like, gag me with a spoon.  Like, I just hate when people say like profanity like every ever word like the guy I know he like says like all the time and I like like hate it.  So, I told him, like, why don't you get ah vocabulary. Yah. Like, for real man. You know.

Now imagine all those "like"s are profane words.  It's like reallllly stuuuuuped either way.  Ya know?

Yeah... I usually only do that once per sentence unless my brain feels really fried. Then I have to stop talking or sound like an idiot saying like all the time.

Hah! Like, Luigison, you totally, like, OH MY GOSH!, sound like a Valley Girl! Like WOW!
(Valley Girl is my EASIEST accent. It gets annoying, though, especially with MY "piercing" voice--well, piercing when I'm mad or hyper. lol. Doesn't help any that I fit the Valley Girl stereotype--blonde hair, blue eyes, semi-native Cali girl... Heh...Luckily I'm SMART. lol)

My biggest transition/interjection problem is using "uh" or "um".
One time my supposed BEST FRIEND started COUNTING the number of times I said it while telling a story. Once she told me, we both started cracking up, and, of course, I got really self-conscious and couldn't continue. Yeah, laughing every other word is kind of, uh *giggle*, hard to, uh *giggle*, say.

My brother seems to say "right" or "um...yeah" at the end of every sentence, now. It's quite funny. ;)

A bunch of students in Physical Science counted the times I said "okay" in a class.  I think it was twenty-something and I didn't even know I did it.

lol. Doesn't it make you really *SELF*- (hehe) conscious afterward? Then you start to stutter when you talk...

I once told that same friend of mine (actually, right after she said she counted me),
"If I couldn't say 'like' or 'uh' for the rest of my life, I'd like, uh, be long dead."

...Hmm...that might make a good new sig. :)

Yes.  I don't think I do it as much now, but I noticed myself say it the other day and since there is now a deaf person in class I wondered if the translater/signer told him my mistakes.

To answer CashCrazed's question a while back, I'm thirteen, but when I came here a year ago (or was it two years ago?) I was either 12 or 11. Anyway, I also have a bad habit of saying "um", "uh", and "anyway".

And In that "like" post, you sounded a lot like most of the girls in my school. And, to be honest, quite a few of the boys as well. I even use like as a filler sometimes ... and I don't enjoy it one bit. Like.
