Which subsidary companies does Nintendo own? I've thought of three so far:
HAL Labs
Retro Studios
Intelligent Systems

Are those the only ones?

As a game that requires six friends, an HDTV, and skill, I can see why the majority of TMK is going to hate on it hard.

What is AlphaDream? Are they a new company?

I thought Creatures, Game Freak, etc. all merged to form the Pokemon Company.

ALPHADREAM developed Mario & Luigi Super Star Saga.

What games have the different companies developed?

I know that, but is AlphaDream a new company? Is M&L the only game they made?

Luigison, in answer to your sig:

I believe, although I may not be correct, that the companies owned by Nintendo made these games:

HAL LABS:
Kirby series
Super Smash Bros. series

INTELLIGENT SYSTEMS:
Advance Wars 1 and 2
Mario Kart: Super Circuit (possibly more Mario Kart games)
Metroid: Zero Mission (possibly more Metroid games)

RETRO STUDIOS:
Metroid Prime 1 and 2

ALPHADREAM:
Mario and Luigi

THE POKEMON COMPANY:
The name explains it...

That's really all I know about the Nintendo companies. The only ones I've thought of are HAL Labs, Intelligent Systems, Retro Studios, The Pokemon Company, and (now that Luigison reminded me) AlphaDream.

I think AlphaDream is a new company, since I've never heard of them before M&L was released.

Retro Studios is a new company. Their web site says that Metroid Prime was their first game, and that the company was founded by Nintendo in 1998.

Intelligent Systems is an older company, I went to their web site and found a list of all of the Nintendo systems they have developed for--going back to the original Famicom!

I think The Pokemon Company was founded a few years after the release of the first two Pokemon games, although I could be wrong.

Any more info on these Nintendo companies would be appreciated. Thank you.

If memory serves, the first Pokemon were made by HAL Labs, right?

What? No, I don't think so. HAL Labs created Kirby. Pokemon was originally made by the Nintendo companies Creatures and Game Freak. Then those two companies merged to form The Pokemon Company... Well, I think that's what happened.

I don't believe Nintendo owns AlphaDream. They're a company that has some former Square Enix people in it.

I believe HAL makes the Mario Party games too. Am I correct?

No, I think Hudson Soft makes Mario Party (in collaboration with Nintendo, of course). At the Mario Party title screen, it says "(C)19** Nintendo / Game by Hudson Soft", or something similar to that.

I believe HAL laboratories devoloped pokemon snap for the N64. The Pokemon company was formed after Pokemon crystal was released for the Game Boy Color because at the startup screen for Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire it said "c. 2003 Pokemon Company". Weird thing is it also said c. 1995-2003 Game Freak and 1995-2003 creatures inc. which means the the Pokemon company could be a completly differant thing.

Is camelot a nintendo exclusive developer?

Edit: AlphaDream is a seminew company because there first game was called tomato Adventure.

CW, I think AlphaDream is owned by Nintendo, because I went to AlphaDream's web site, and I found some games that they had made (along with Mario and Luigi).

All the games said "(C) 2003 Nintendo, Inc./AlphaDream Corporation."

I guess that proves it then, Nintendo owns AlphaDream.
