Update: Beat the ENTIRE game. All plus levels.

Oh, and for the record, I hate those freaking Mini-Marios. They're so annoying when you need to do the plus levels. Anyone who plays the plus levels knows what i'm talking about.

DK+ Final Battle is the coolest thing in the game.

The second credits rules also. Mario finally settles the dispute on how to pronounce Charles Martinet's name. I was right. mar-tee-NEHT

Oh, I beat the first regular DK boss stage, got a new high score and without taking any damage, and got a star. Tried it on the second boss stage, but it didn't gimme a star. I didn't have all the stars form the other stages in that world, but I did in World 1, so I think that's what I neeeded to do.

Sorry, but I got all kinds of DK boss stars without having the other stars in that world. I did, however, always make sure to do the MM stage first to have six healths. Maybe that is the key.

And there's no way it's actually mar-ti-NET. At least, it shouldn't be. Maybe Mario is just bad at French???

(I am on 6-mm so no spoilers please about credits or some such thing.)

I'm pretty sure it's Mar-tin-ey. Someone should ask Charlie at e3 next year.
That was a joke.

Yeah but tell me this.

Why would Charles Martinet pronounce his own name wrong, hmm???

Well, Mr. Martinet himself I know is quite fluent in French... and I think I remember him pronouncing it mar-ti-net...

Ah, well.
And yes, you need to end a DK-fight with 6 hit points to star it (meaning you have to do the mm round first).
(Kweh!  Only 3 stars to go!)

Ok, ok. In the ending, Mario (Charles Marinet) says "Ah that Charles Martinet... a nice Italian boy."

I don't think Mr. Martinet would incorrectly identify his own ethnic background and pronounce his own name wrong.

Hoo, yah!
Just cleared it, down to the last cent!
...Good game.  Could've used a little more 'evil', though.

Well, they still misspelled it "Martinee" in the Japanese SN64 credits.

I just saw those second credits and watched them twice.  Martinet clearly says mar-ti-nay. Meowrik needs to clean his ears or something. Now to finish those Expert stages.

P.S. You sure were right about that final boss. That was totally fun! And exciting! (good music)

Mar-tee-nay, whatever. I'm going deaf in one ear or something. So slay me.
