I love Cookies and Cream + chocolate milkshakes, chocolate mi---wait, can't eat that... Hmm. I like yogurt, but not as much as granola bars.

I also like focaccia bread, pizza, soup (chicken noodle/rice/black bean), and broccoli.

> The Supersize Me movie actually had an opposite effect on me; it reminded me "Hmm, I haven't had McDonalds in a while" and then I went there for dinner!

Cash, that was hilarious! XD See, you can post totally appropriate stuff and still be funny and interesting.

Luigison, fast food can be bad, yes, but it is not addictive like and automatically as harmful as tobacco. You make a good point, but I think it's a little harsh to say,

ill effects of fast food = ill effects of tobacco.

My favorite kind of food seems to be Japanese food, but I'm not positive. Hopefully I'll be able to find out for sure when I'm in Japan this summer. What I do know is that I love sushi (all kinds that I've tried), especially when the fish is raw.

Also, I'm a sucker for ice cream. Walking past a Cold Stone without getting some is a challenge. :P

Recently I've learned that the human body can do amazing things when one stops eating for a few days. I'm going to learn more about this, and then maybe sometime I can attempt a prolonged fast of some sort. For some reason that seems appealing to me.

The last time I saw a Cold Stone Creamery was in Yakima, I think.

I eat at McDonald's/Burger King/White Castle almost every day. I'm 6'0" (ca. 182 cm) and weigh about 165 pounds (ca. 75 kg) -- not at all overweight. ... Then again, it may be due to my tendency to never sit still. I pace an average of 3 miles a day. About.

Aside from that, I have a particular weakness for those sticks that come with that Lik 'M Stix candy, White Cheddar Rice Cakes, Oreos (sporatically)... there a lot of different things, it all depends on my mood, really.

Two things that make me throw up when I try to eat them are pizza and spaghetti sauce. I also cannot eat hamurgers unless they have absolutely nothing but the meat patty on them (and the bread), and cannot eat anything with barbecue sauce without throwing up. ... Actually, there's a lot of things I can't eat without throwing up for some odd reason.

Whoa, where'd you come from, Steve?! I haven't seen you in quite some time.

I've been to the Cold Stone in Tacoma about way too many times.

What's White Castle?

I like to eat lots and lots of fruit! :D Hehehe!  Sometimes I'll run down the street to Hy-Vee (being careful not to smash cars with my big feet), tear a big hole in the roof of the building with my teeth, and then stick my big face in there and chow down on tons of fruit until it comes out my nose!  But of course I always pay for it when I'm done.

In reality, I do like fruit and also pasta food and cheeseburgers and meat and stuff.  I should probably try to like more Chinese and Japanese food but I have trouble with trying new things... especially things that look/smell gross to me.  But someday.

Watoad: Fasting is an interesting experience.  Awhile back me and my friends had a program at the school where we donated money to starving children and then spent the night in the building, all the while without eating any food in order to understand how they feel like (not bragging here, just telling the facts).  Even though I felt pretty hungry the whole, somehow I also felt pretty good inside too.  Maybe one day I'll try to go longer.

I don't think I could afford to fast for a very long time... I'm proabably the most underweight person here, in comparison to age/height. Before joining the really competitive swim team, I never had much of an appetite. In fact, in 9th grade, I didn't weigh more than 100 pounds until the middle of October (2003). Now I've developed a fair amount of muscle, but my appetite is slacking. Fortunately, I've still got room to grow, so I don't expect to be losing weight.

I'll never fast as long as I live. I don't think I could bear to be without food for even a day.

Hmm, no pizza, big burgers, or barbeque sauce? That kinda limits your fast food selection, Steve. Wait, not kind of. A lot. I don't like a lot of stuff on my hamburgers either, but to make up for the flavor I cover it in ketchup and mustard. And I do mean COVER it. Combined with the massive amounts I use on french fries as well, I can probably get a whole daily serving of fruit from my godly amounts of tomato ketchup.

Wait, you can't eat loaded burgers, which usually includes cheese, or pizza, which is covered in cheese. Ever think you might be lactose intolerant?

The cheese in pizza is fine. It's the pasta sauce that's bad.

Even stranger, I eat about 5x the ketchup with my fries as the average person. I don't get it.

I've been visited roughly every day, although I don't post as much as I usually do.

Ugh, NASTY! I'm pretty much the opposite: I LOVE marinara sauce but HATE ketchup. About the only thing I can stand it on is fast food burgers and fries. ...And usually I don't like that food anyway.

Pretty much I LOVE all Italian food. I am, like, a total pasta and marinara sauce freak.  ...Actually, come to think of it, I'm an overall sauce/toppings freak.
Seriously, I will not eat ANYTHING plain, well, if it's bland I mean. I ALWAYS add some kind of sauce, dressing, topping, and/or seasoning (though not so much that) on pretty much anything I eat. (This doesn't thrill my mom too much; apparently she thinks it's an insult to her cooking. It's not--she's like the best cook EVER; it just happens that sometimes the food itself she cooks is a bland kind of food.)

I also love Mexican food, shellfish (clams, shrimp, lobster, etc), steak, and pretty much any form of potatoes (except raw, and as long as I have toppings/gravy/sauce, of course). Oh, and I have a major sweet-tooth. >_>;

I'm not really into junk food, like chips and soda and candy and stuff, unless it's chocolate-related.

Some things I absolutely will not eat:
-whipped cream (including Cool Whip) (oh, this I can handle if there's a tiny bit or if I can remove from the dessert),
-American cheese (which I will not eat ANYTHING if it has any sort of hint of that flavor),
-bananas (same deal),
-fish (of any kind in any form--oh, which is MUCH different from shellfish, which I love),
-mayo (unless it's in things; I mainly hate it for the smell by itself),
-soda (yes, soda, BLECH),
-coffee (that includes lattes and cappuccinos and all the other ways to make it taste "better." The ice cream is iffy; it depends on the brand.)
-and pretty much any kind of cooked vegetable, ESPECIALLY green ones (for some reason, the taste nastier). The only kind of cooked green ones I'll eat are green beans in green bean casserole. Actually, pretty much the only vegetables I like are ones you'd generally put in a salad...'cept carrots...and cabbage. Okay, tomatoes, lettuce, and celery are good... Maybe corn, but that's not "salad" food.

I'm not too keen on really "rich" foods, either, like cheese cake (ugh) or truffles, and stuff doused in grease and oozing with fat. Makes me sick. (Seriously, it makes me want to vomit; that's why I can't stand McDonald's: too greasy--EVERYTHING.)

Yeah, it may seem like I'm picky, but I'm really not. XD  Come to think of it, I don't eat all that much anyway, so it doesn't really matter.

P.S. Ice cream = WIN

Self-confessed chocoholic here. I also like other fast foods, but my mother was brought up in a family that ate very fatty foods. My grandma and grandpa died at 60 and 58, so my mum is making us all eat healthy, even though I love chcolate so much!! I love my food, especially Papa Guiseppi's family pizza and Tuna Pasta.

Potatoes.  Mashed, scalloped, baked, french fried, aoups (My father makes a really good sausage and potato soup), skins with melted cheese and bacon, and thats not including sweet potatoes.

Also, I'm a fan of a nice pasta, linguine, preferably, in a nice alfredo sauce.

Ooh, or a delicious, juicy, medium-rare delmonico steak, with a side of...Garlic Mashed Potatoes!  And though it is not really something you eat by itself, I love the taste of garlic.

Sapph, that was great! I got a total kick out of your post. What fun/ny stuff. XD

Also, I agree that tomatoes are vegetables. It's science gone overboard to call them fruit. I can't think of even one instance in which you'd use a tomato like a fruit, and I've been cookin' this one in my noodle for many a harvest moon.
