Chup, you can't say anything you want.  You can't give away national secrets.  Yell "fire" in a crowded theater.  Discuss pornography or bomb making with a the neighborhood kids.  Etc.

Though, it's not just political free speech.

Ah yes, Luigison. I wasn't thinking about that kind of thing.

And, like it or not, the guy did have a "right" to say that. All he meant by it is that they're basically sticking Mario in almost every conceivable type of game, and he was expressing distaste with it. Not a good choice of words, but still, I don't see why you're all freaking out about it.
That was a joke.

I am not "freaking out" and agree with CW's previous post.

I love how there are two topics going on in this thread rather than just the intended one.

"The establishment clause of the First Amendment doesn't condemn the influence of religion in politics; it condemns the interference of the federal government in matters of religion."

Very true. I wish the liberals would get that through their heads already.

But LD, your sig says that all you EVER do is eat, sleep, say stuff, DDR and wear glasses.  Would that make you a Sith lord?  Of course, maybe you guys were talking about David Dayton in that quote...

Luigison, you're a teacher.  Lizard Dude, you live in Montana.  Vidgmchtr, you are a teenager.  This is that.

Well, that sums up everything I can say(I'm a realist!).

Did Lizard Dude use the term liberal?

I'm a moderate/centrist with both conservative and liberal leanings.  That is, on some issues I'm strongly on one side, but overall both/all sides average out.  I feel strongly that the US should have secure borders, but neither of the two big poitical power seem to be willing to do that for fear of losing votes.  I'm tired of the current two party system that I think was never intended by our forefathers.

Have you ever took a test like these?

I took a similiar one a long time ago, but can't find it now.  Maybe I'll take one again sometime.

Anyway, I can't base all my political believes on "sound conservative literature".   I try to read ALL sides.
