in the mirror room, if you shoot fire out of the vacume, the fire has no reflection in the mirror

Elements don't appear in ANY mirror. The programmers were just lazy. Case closed.

POSSIBLE SPOILER!!

After defeating King Boo in SM64DS, the Luigi key bursts out of the mirror- but it doesn't have a reflection...

Notice in SM64DS only Mario,(looking like Luigi) King Boo, and the backround can be seen on the mirror.Only the NECCESSARY stuff.The backround has to be there of course.But they would'nt include something as unimportant as a key.So, it's nothing to think about really.

In Luigi's Mansion, they obviously forgot to make the particle effects reflect in those realtime mirrors.

In SM64DS, they have two separate models for each side of the mirrors.

Speaking of Luigi's mansion glitches, anyone know how to get Mario to say "Luigi! What's the hold up?" ?

That's not a glitch. You just walk around the well in the Courtyard. Mario's voice is heard from the well since it's joined to the Secret Alter. However for some reason when you go in the well he stops.

That means ice nor water do not appear in mirrors as well as fire.
