No one ever seems to get my jokes. That makes me sad. :(

bobman37 · « **Reply #301 on:** November 21, 2006, 01:12:03 AM »

I get them, most of the time, and before I have a chance to reply, someone else posts, taking your joke seriously, and I am left to shake my head and wonder, why can't everyone have such a sense of humor.

Please excuse me while I go into a comma.

I searched and searched (3 pages) and still couldn't find a joke.

Maybe that's the problem?

Suffix · « **Reply #303 on:** November 21, 2006, 06:03:48 PM »

I would have gotten the joke if "RIDICULOUS" was in quotation marks. I think that's the joke.

Koopalsaya has eared my respect.

That's the only thing I found funny in the last three pages.

I think Sapphira's is less of a joke and more like sarcasm.

Lizard Dude · « **Reply #306 on:** November 21, 2006, 09:34:25 PM »

Am I missing something? How is that a joke or sarcasm?

Insane Steve · « **Reply #307 on:** November 22, 2006, 12:53:20 AM »

I believe that's what us internet poker players like to call "63rd level sarcasm".

Although, it's rediculous to insinuate there's anything sarcastic about anything here.

Lizard Dude · « **Reply #308 on:** November 22, 2006, 01:13:18 AM »

I think I finally get it.

Joke gets 2/10 rating.

Just to prove I actually understand: Sapphira hates (I guess?) when people misspell ridiculous as IS did.

Chupperson Weird · « **Reply #309 on:** November 22, 2006, 01:19:44 AM »

I thought she was saying like, unless it was a ridiculous spelling error.

Sapphira · « **Reply #310 on:** November 22, 2006, 11:41:14 AM »

The joke was that there was a double meaning.
If I have to explain any further, I'll be sadder than I already am.

Sinister Aura · « **Reply #311 on:** November 22, 2006, 11:34:16 PM »

there's been quite some talk about this...
well the reason why I don't get your jokes is one of two posibilities (or both)
1. I don't know you people very well since I havent been here for too long
2. I know too many people whose lost the entire concept of true humor or at least some humorous sarcasm or can't take them without an offensive and rather racial reply

Max, I honestly can't think of anyone else on the site who enforces the rules (besides the mods) more than you do.
