- A Goomba kills you when you're powered by a starman.
- You can play the "Lost a Life" and "Game Over" musics from any Mario game on any instrument by ear, even if you've never seen the instrument or played the game before.
- The 1-Ups in SM64 give up on flying towards you.
- You stomp a Rex and it gets taller.
- The bandit steals all of your coins at the beginning of PM:TTYD.
- You die in an instructional sequence.
