You know, I really wish Kirby could talk. I used to envision him having a voice similar to the Toaster from The Brave Little Toaster.

Meh, I've grown to respect GiftedGirl a bit more than some of the newer people I've encountered here.

It is true, I actually find you less annoying than people such as fuzzy, or Yoshi55. :P

Well, it's kinda hard to find someone more annoying than them.

But to get back on topic, I thought Kirby would have a voice like that due to the voice of the announcer in Kirby's Avalanche.

Yes, I have noticed that.  I was just pointing out, with a drawn-out rant, my disgust with 4Kids for continuing the trend of trashing good anime to make it more appropriate for the younger, American audience.  The Pokemon anime was great back in the day, (with the exception of the fact that 4Kids left out two important episodes) but by the time of the Johto seasons, it got too repetative.  I guess the reason I like the old episodes of the Pokemon anime is because at least one ep would show Jessie, James, or Meowth's life before Team Rocket.  Those episodes made me deeply pity these three thieves and grow to love them.  Jessie and James are really two lost children who had no real family till they found each other.

Johto is not 4kids fault. Johto sucked to begin with. Blame the writers for running out of ideas and making all filler (which was about 60% of that season) so formulaic.

I would've now said the Advanced seasons are infinite times better, but your opinion on May makes me think you probably don't like them at all.
As a game that requires six friends, an HDTV, and skill, I can see why the majority of TMK is going to hate on it hard.

Yeah, I agree. It would've been so cool if Kirby could talk. As for his voice, I never really thought of that, but I think it would sound soft, calm snd happy. Not overly squeaky, though. Just calm. But he'd raise his voice from time to time, like if he got into a fight.

I wonder if Kirby will have a new voice actor for SSBB?

Ugh........I hate the Pokemon anime to begin with. It was fun when I was little, but every episode is doomed to follow the same storyline as the former.

Ya' know something bad? All good cartoons that started off well are now going down the pooper, Examples:

Pokemon: Down the pooper, and fast.

The Simpsons: Not as fast

Ed, Edd, and Eddy: Same as pokemon!

Anymore?
Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

Ed, Edd and Eddy, Spongebob, Billy and Mandy, and others were all very good cartoons, but have lost their touch and the fans know it. The only two good cartoons on Cartoon Network right now are Foster's and Camp Lazlo. Everything thing else is complete and utter crap that deserves to be shoved down the pooper until the toilet itself clogs and floods the whole Earth (although I'm beginning to understand and like Kids Next Door after watching some VERY good episodes).

There are a lot of cartoons that have the sense to end while they're still good. Not as much anymore, I guess...
That was a joke.

I'm happy with cartoons that end as long as there is closure to the series.

Sonic X did not end well.  Season 3 was one of the more innovative Sonic seasons ever, but it was overshadowed by complaints about horrific dubbing and terrible rewrites from people who saw the originals in Japanese.  Plus, 4kids created a plothole with the Cosmo situation.  In the original script, she was slated to die.  But because "everything is sunshine and roses and nothing bad ever happens," according to them, they rewrote the dialog and cut out important scenes, thus removing the drama.  They then did even more of a hack job on the final episode, ending it with Chris going home, but we never find out if he gets there.  You'd think those were intended to indicate another season, but for now they're just plotholes.
I always figured "Time to tip the scales" was Wario's everyday motto.

I can understand where you're coming from with Spongebob, but Edd, Ed and Eddy seems to be a lot different in the recent seasons, with it being set in autumn. I think it opened up a crapload of possibilities for the show.

(although I'm beginning to understand and like Kids Next Door after watching some VERY good episodes).

Ha! I new you'd understand at some point! Seen the KND tele-movie yet? It's awesome.

Yes, it's what won me over. The part where Grandfather was "crushed" by the moon-base was spectacular.
