I don't know what sense you were hoping it made, but I think it was a thing from some online contest to come up with a new profession for Mario (as in, not even actually a fan game, but some kind of Photoshop. I think, at least; if there's one thing most fan games do have, it's a complete disregard for sprite uniformity).
