And what's wrong with this?

A giant DS would be better.
Ditto used Machop!

I assume you all know that the real problem is that there's nothing running on the Windows computer that's supposed to generate content for the display, so you can see Windows instead.
That was a joke.

It could be argued that the more fundamental problem is that Sony is using a Microsoft product to advertise themselves, when we all know that Sony's gaming division is right below Google and cute puppies on Steve Ballmer's kill list.

It's slightly above the puppies.  Slightly.

That's right, I forgot he released an update for the list after these came out:

Turtlekid, out of curiousity, are you using a forum theme other than the default (the black, gray, and blue one)?
Remember that your first Goomba boldly you walk? When Mario touched that mushroom being brought up more largely remember that you are surprised? Miscalculate your jump that pit remember that it falls?

Yes.  I'm using the SMF Default Theme.

There is, although there aren't a lot of them (4). In all the SMF themes, smilies are automatically made. I really, really, hate smilies, but I'm using the SMF Default to monitor new avatars.

I wonder at all if it's possible to design a new theme that is basically the FF theme but with avatar and smiley support... I don't know anything about using SMF, but could it be done?

I assume it is. However...

I'm waiting for SMF 2.0 so that I don't have to redo everything once that comes out.

I'm not sure about "swithing" themes, but to switch, go to

Profile--->Look and Layout Preferences--->Change Theme (right near the top of the page).
