In the pokémon 4 kid's defense the Johto wild encounter bgm is like my all-time favorite battle theme too. Followed by PWT finals, BW1 rivals, Unova Elite Four, Plasma... Gen 4 Frontier Brains...

I leveled five pokémon with Pickup to level 81 or higher, high enough that Leftovers can be picked up. I was running around in the grass on route 7 to trigger Pickup before realizing "With my luck, I'm gonna find a shiny before I find Leftovers. And Volbeat and Illumise appear on this route. I'm not having that."

So I changed locales and adjusted my luck, chain-fishing and Leftovers-hunting at the same time. And I was right.

Shiny Poliwags chain-fished: 4
Leftovers Pickupped: 1

Why do you need a second Leftovers? I thought you weren't allowed to have duplicate items in multiplayer battles.

Is this supposed to be every generation redone in the style of the first..? It's pretty cool, but some of them look a little silly (Slakoth line, for instance)

After a long break from the main games, I started Black recently, finished it yesterday morning, and started X last night.

I'll do a "favorite of each type" chart after I finish X's story.
