This is the first time in 3 years that I have done this.  Post all of the reasons why you think 2006 was a great year for the FF.  I know it may be a little early, but better early than late, eh?  Anyway,  I thought 2006 was a great year because:

-The forum received a major facelift, as well as new features.
-Boo_Penguin was "the man" in the chatroom
-We had a wealth of quality members join the forums.
-New boards.
I always figured "Time to tip the scales" was Wario's everyday motto.

Don't those happen every year, minus maybe the forum "facelift"?

Hmm...not to be pessimistic, by which I mean I do, but not a whole lot of notable stuff happened FF-wise in '06. I mean, yeah, there was the boo_penguin thing, but that's all I can recall...

Oh, wait! I remember! Exploding Barrels and the FF were mentioned on Wikipedia on their page on fictional games.

The outcomes of the negtive CTs were threefold. All had a positive impact on the community.
1. The member would leave on his own.
2. The member would do something stupid, and then be banned.
3. The member would reform his/her ways, and would become a good member of the community.

I, thus, never had a problem with them.

As a game that requires six friends, an HDTV, and skill, I can see why the majority of TMK is going to hate on it hard.

However, I was an uber n00b at the time, mixing up the definitions of "fourm" and "chatroom" (I was actually a computer newb at the time, too). I have since then apologized. And if I haven't, I am sorry.

Hmm. A lot of great things have happened in the year 2006. Yes, we had a lot of good members and bad members turned good, many good topics (but more bad ones), But, we did have events that did stick out, Including: TEM's picture of his dog with the rainbow background; fuzzy; Fungi High; and Sapphira's vacation in Washington. I am certain there are many others that I cannot name right now. Nonetheless, a good year it was for The Mushroom Kingdom.
