I partially based BP's reaction on out-of-IRC posts like this. Likewise, it was a satirical parody of #tmk in which everyone is essentially a caricature of how I've seen them act.

Well, I was angry when I said that, at 1) Rao, for returning to #tmk only to repeat the past, and at 2) you, for thinking you could judge about seven people based on an accumulated thirty-two minutes or so of talking to 'em. At the time, it was Suffix you were misjudging. Dreadfully misjudging.

I'm sorry for what I said in the quote above this post here. I just explained why I was so merciless, so take what you will from that. I don't think any of it was particularly unfounded, no--just out of line.

I do not like being played as some kind of high/mighty above-the-law crooked cop. The last ban I did, before Rao's first one? I don't remember it. The last kick I did was on Turtle, it was kind of a joke; kicks are really nothing anyway, you can come right back in. Sapphira used to do it to me all the time so I guess I'm just desensitized to 'em. But alas, that one was made loud and clear during the phase where everyone on TMK who had the slightest bit of power was fascist, some three months ago (?).

Now that I think of it, perhaps Bird Person's motto should be "To protect #TMK from devastation."

I'm hopeful because my dad finally installed Firefox on this computer. I'm enjoying it.

Is it really that different from IE? We had Firefox at school, and I've yet to find any features on it which trump IE's generally-user-friendly accessibility.
