Uh, yes. Yes it does. Unless the person is an all around nice person, or is to stupid to respond, if someone is called a name, the other will get angry and argue, call the other person a name, etc.

I have yet to meet a person that will sit there and take it when called a name. I'm sure there are people out there, I just haven't meet them yet.

Looks like you missed what Chup was trying to say there, PL.

Obviously. Now I look like a dofus.  :P I can't tell if he was saying I've been called a name and didn't do anything about, or something else.

I'm like Chupperson. No retaliation to insult. More of a passive resistance kind of guy.

Man, I'm glad the Conker argument was over. And I wasn't being chicken; I just wanted to get back on topic.

Speaking of which...

The other day, I saw in the obituaries that someone with my name had died. Not terribly spooky, but still, y'know...spooky.

Okay.  When I was in 8th grade I made up a sealion pokemon named Sealeo.  Well, lo and behold a year later! The English name of one of the R/S pokemon is the same as the pokemon I made up!

That's really very... Unh. I mean, any animal name + a letter or two after it is bound to be a Pokemon name eventually. Just wait till we have Emua.

This lends credence to my theory that Nintendo is stealing ideas from its fans; and no, I'm not joking. A year or two ago, I sent a letter to Nintendo about an idea for a game I had that involved Wario using different costumes to get different powers, for the DS. And lo and behold, there is now Wario: Master of Disguise, which uses a very similar idea (which, incidentally, I ripped off of Little Nemo, which no one else has played).
