But will it be as good as the Bob Hoskins Mario movie from 1993?

Would you ever consider uploading these onto the Internet Archive, for the sake of better preservation? They have a dedicated manga section with a paltry selection of Mario manga -- just a few chapters of Super Mario-kun and Super Mario Sunshine 4 Koma (which I assume is doujinshi).

Just ignore all the barely concealed hentai, which I'm sure will never ever legally compromise the "library"'s existence.
This is not a bad option for the better preservation to upload it onto the Internal Archive. I believe it's a love with this game can make someone doing this and I am a big fan of Mario since my childhood. lol

General Chat / Is it accetable to gate out content based on IPv6 of all things?

I mean, net is supposed to be open on the principle and while this sort of 'gatekeeping' is thankfully nearly nonexistent, it can be quite a nasty surprise whenever you do encounter such 'gatekeeping'. Off from the top of my head, the only instance of such I have personally encountered happens to be on a 'chan of all things.

Another amusing idea I had (and I do this now in my head anyway) is if Mario made a different vocalization or exclamation in different situations: like an "oof" or "yeow!" whenever he misjudges a jump and lands in lava or a pit, or gets chomped by a piranha plant, or slides off a platform, or gets smashed by a sliding koopa shell, etc.

Would players even be able to finish the game? People would intentionally kill Mario just to hear all the funny sound effects. :-D

Dangerous machinery and terrain exist in real life too. I'm sure most residents of the Mushroom Kingdom (and probably the broader Mario 'verse by extension) generally don't have such an experience just like those living in modern organized societies don't.

The entire premise of Super Mario Bros. is that Mario is going on a dangerous rescue mission. Bit of selection bias going on when your game camera focuses on the guy facing down all the peril.
