Mostly classic rock...

The Beatles
Queen
The Eagles
Led Zeppelin
The Doors (Only a few songs)
CCR(Creedence, for those who don't know.)
And I also love Calvin's Calvinball song from Calvin and Hobbes.

By the way, it's the first of May, and it's snowing here in Minnesota today!  (Hey, that rhymed!)  I have many other favorites that I'm simply too lazy to list.

I''ve said my piece, now I''m off to some hardcore SSBM action!
I always figured "Time to tip the scales" was Wario's everyday motto.

I listen to music, but most of them are singers not bands. I do have one favorite though: Evanescence.  I just love their songs and Amy Lee's voice is incredible. My favorite songs are Whisper and Thoughtless (I know it's a cover).

Oh wait! I alos love Train! Even though I only heard "Drops of Jupiter" and Calling all Angels"

All day today I've had the New Radicals song, "Mother We Just Can't Get Enough" stuck in my head.

I like songs that give me that clouds-in-the-sky-floating feeling.  It usually happens at certain parts of a song.  Does anyone else feel that way about songs, or know what I'm talking about?

I suppose I know what you mean, Markio. A feeling of just not being where you are. It's hard to describe. I get that after hearing a song for the first few times, then it just doesn't have the same effect. There is one song that still does it for me: Kaze no Matsuri. It means Festival of the Wind and it's an insert song from the anime Shamanic Princess.

kaze ni niji tsukete
(The bird that flies on the trail of wind,)
tobu tori ga ozu ki ni notte wa
(calls forth the morning mist,)
shiroi tomo kara wa
(Through the white cloud,)
taiyou no hibiki ga kieru
(the power of the sun is gone)
mou ijikan wo kotomuji
(This day of prayer is bringing)
yoburi no inori
(forth a distant time,)
sa ni nae yume ni hitotsu no
(In this distant dream,)
koe ga todoku yo ,
(one voice will reach you...)
sora ni chiete yuku
(Dissappearing into the sky,)
sakamichi wo doko made miyofu
(how far does this hill climb?)
nokori sugeta nara
(When you reach the top)
kami ga mido kotoba
(share a dialogue with the gods indeed.)
hawa sou
(Now then…)
tada

sun-sariten, sun-sariten
toki wo takeru wo tada
(The song that announces the time)
sun-sariten, sun-sariten
shougen wo yoro****e
(Shakes the grassy plains)
ra-shan nishun, ra-shan nishun
koko wa na tatakai yo
(It is warm here)
ra-shan nishun, ra-shan nishun
kono te ni
(Within these arms...)

doi-chiriya, doi-chiriya
kyou wa kaze no matsuri
(This is the festival of wind)
doi-chiriya, doi-chiriya
ashi wo kou hasezu ni
(Wherever your foot soundly falls)
ra-shan nishun, ra-shan nishun
tada mo hoho ayenderu
(Everyone is smiling)
ra-shan nishun, ra-shan nishun
hitomi tojite
(Close your eyes...)

Does no one here listen to classical music?

I listen to Yes, Moody Blues, Steely Dan, Radiohead, Coldplay, Aphex Twin, µ-Ziq, Chris Clark, They Might Be Giants, or whatever happens to be on... I like most Led Zeppelin, for instance.

I also like The Beatles, The Monkees, and various other classic rock/old pop bands.

I listen to classical, techno and game music as much as, if not more than, normal mainstream music. Some of my favorite classical composers are Telemann, Vivaldi, J.S.Bach, Beethoven, Barber, and Shostakovich, and some of my favorite game music composers are Yasunori Mitsuda, Koji Kondo, "Hip" Tanaka, Nobuo Uematsu, David Wise, and Yuzo Koshiro.

Yeah.

I listen to Classical, yes.

...If you mean Classical as in, songs I've played in band and downloaded from websites.

CW, I like Beethoven's 5th, Moonlighr Sonata, and Fur Elise.

I also like albums with themes like Pink Floyd's The Wall and Queensryche's Mindcrime.  I mostly listen to late 80's and early 90's hair bands and grunge, but listen to most classic and new rock.  I might post more specific bands later.

I don't listen to too much classical, though I do really love a CD that my mother had, "Classical music for home improvement".  It's mostly pieces that you can swing a sledgehammer to, which I like.

Chupperson, I think you already know I listen to classical music. And game music, too.

Yeah, I was thinking of adding a disclaimer saying "I know Suffix listens to classical music."
