I'm not too fond of ACDC...sure they play good music, but i don't like the lead singer's voice.  Simple Plan?  OMG!  You're crazy!  They suck so much it's crazy, man I haven't heard many bands worse than simple plan!

My faves are:
3 Doors Down, AFI, Alexisonfire, Andrew W.K., Billy Talent, blink-182, Blur, Bon Jovi, Brand New, Coldplay, The Darkness, Death From Above 1979, Default, Depeche Mode, Eve 6, Everclear, Fear Factory, Finger Eleven, Fountains of Wayne, Gob, Goo Goo Dolls, Hoobastank, Incubus, Jet, The Killers, Linkin Park, Marilyn Manson, Matthew Good, Nine Inch Nails, No Doubt, Oasis, The Offspring, Out of Your Mouth, Pilate, Projet Orange, Queens of the Stone Age, Rammstein, Rasmus, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Roxette, Steriogram, The Strokes, System of a Down, The Tea Party, Three Days Grace, Transplants, Velvet Revolver, and Yellowcard.  Whew!  Out of breath!

I'm pretty eclectic. It's easier for me to name groups or artists that I don't like than it is to name those I do.

Spice Girls
Eminem
That one Asian guy from American Idol, who's famous for just being terrible.
Not a big fan of Britney spears, but there are a few songs I like.
Those Disney actresses who decide to record CDs.
Donny osmond.
Barry Mannilow.
Boy bands in general, with exceptions for maybe two songs.

"50 Cent"

50 Cent isn't a band. It isn't even in the same genre as the music you are talking about.

I'm not one that listens to music every day for hours on end, but I do listen to a few bands a bit.  Tut tut...You haven't named some of the (personal) best yet.

-Aerosmith
-The Beatles
-Jet
-Queen
-Rolling stones
-Green day
-AC/DC (too bad theres no lightning key on the keyboard)
-Pink Floyd

There are more, but I can't currently think of them.

TEM, from your name I would have guessed you would have the Beatles in there somewhere.

I love the music from the good old days with singers such as Frank Sinatra, The Beetles, Simon and Grafunkel, Dean Martin, Samantha Sang, The Everly Brothers and many more. The olny singer of today I like is Noarh Jones since her music is gentle like it was back then.

I read Screech's list without reading the first sentence of his post. I got scared.

Do I really have to say who my favorite band is??? Just look up a few milimeters, and to your left. LED ZEP!!! But others are Green Day, Aerosmith, AC/DC, Nirvana, The Who, Stray Cats, Metallica, Black Sabbath, Steppenwolf, Lynrd Skynrd, Blink 182, Run DMC, P.O.D, Korn*, Slipknot*, The Rolling Stones, Third Day Wire, The Cars**, The Ramones, Beatles, The Doors, Weird Al, Queen**, KISS, Alice Cooper, and Pink Floyd.

*I don't listen to these so much, because I am not a goth.
**These I don't listen to very much because I only enjoy one or two of their songs.

EDIT: Thanks to TEM for writing Blue Oyster Cult, because I remembered that they also are a superb band. Especially "Don't Fear the Reaper."

I don't physically listen to music.  Usually I just sit in my room, wasting away while I imagine everything and anything I want, until I have to go to school.

Actually, I listen to whatever's on the radio or compter, because I like most musci and I would get bored hearing the same things over and over.
