Well, if you're a Mega Man sidescroller fan, then I recommend sickng to the Zero games; the BN games move at a snail's pace.

Non Nintendo:
Drill Dozer - Everyone should play this.
Kurukuru Kururin - Worth the import.

Those aren't really non-Nintendo games. They were both published by Nintendo. But they're still must-play. And the Kururin sequels as well.
