Bowser's and Peach's wedding is mentioned several times throughout the game, so what's so surprising to me is...

That there's no divorce/anullment to undo the marraige in the game at all, not even when you finish it. I can overlook small plotholes, but this is a pretty glaring error, unless the intent was to leave them married, which seems to be the case here.

Just an observation...
I'll think of a better signature later!

The wedding brought forth the Chaos Heart, so even if the two got divorced it would still exist. Supposedly the two broke the union after Peach announced it was simply a sham and the world was to be destroyed. The only way to destroy the Chaos Heart was to counter it with Pure Hearts, brought on by true love, while the Chaos Heart came out of a union that could only be accomplished through mind-control, not love.

Divorce would be too much of an adult theme for a Mario game.

I think it was kind of established that that didn't count after we all found out it was all an evil plan... by Count Bleck! And so Bowser backed off after justice was served and the Chaos Heart was destroyed... thanks to Count Bleck! So whatever! BLEH HEH HEH HEH... BLECK!

Murder.. oh wait, they sort of did that in the first PM game, didn't they? When you first get to Shiver City, and the wife thinks that you killed her husband.

"Til your games be over," is synonymous to "Til Death do you part," and since both of their 'games were ended' when Dimentio attacked and sent them to the Underwhere, their vows are over.

That's a very good point.

Brilliant! Great connection. And I don't think you have to put anything in spoiler tags; anyone who doesn't want to learn any spoilers wouldn't come here...
I never would have thought of that x_x

I just realised I made a double post. Sorry about that.

I thought I would go ahead and use the spoiler tags, becuase sometimes unsuspecting people walk into a topic expecting not to see spoilers, and then end up reading them by accident.

If it makes you feel better, you can highlight the entire post and pretend the spoiler tages aren't there. XD
