Today's Smash Bros. DOJO update shows us Diddy Kong's special moves. His Peanut Popgun (standard special move) shoots out peanuts at a speed determined by how long you hold down the button. Seen in the screen shot above, the Rocketbarrel Boost (up special move) can also be charged to unleash a powerful jump attack.

And before anything jumps the gun:

The popgun will do only damage Diddy if you charge it TOO LONG
And the when the Rocketbarrel flies off Diddy when he's attacked, it could still hit the opponent

Well, I suppose DK64 really WAS the only game where he had defining moves...

I like the pic, it looks like Yoshi had something to do with Diddy blasting off. XD

Ugh, why does Yoshi always have his hands like that? He look so feminine.

Recall the earliest artwork of Yoshi:

His hand's position is a reference to how they used to be "paws". Further proof that the characters' designs still contain older aspects despite being based on recent appearences.

Yoshi is a dinosaur, and most bipedal dinosaurs' arms were like that.

He look so feminine.

Well... he does lay eggs...

Hopefully there will be a Carthwheel move.

Roffle, SushieBoy is video game character sexist.

CoconutMikeNIke · « **Reply #10 on:** September 04, 2007, 08:24:06 PM »

The cartwheel will likely just be his running attack. And I bet he uses his guitar for his final smash, or at least one of his smash attacks.

I wonder when Diddy Kong gets his gun back if it explodes?

PaperLuigi · « **Reply #12 on:** September 04, 2007, 09:04:25 PM »

I bet Diddy's Rocketbarrel has a 12.5% chance of going off on it's own.

Meanwhile, the Animal Crossing characters continue to look really happy. Perhaps too happy. They must like flying monkeys.

They're happy of seeing people beating each other up.
