Goodie, you severely underestimate the gaming abilities of rabid Japanese fans.
That was a joke.

Or rabid internet pirates.  One of the ending sequences on Youtube was in French.

You know...you'd think I'd be overjoyed about this, but why am I not?

Neither am I....basically I just dont see the point of playing a game all over again, even if it IS with Luigi ><  I wanted him to be unlockable like..at LEAST in the middle of the game or after you save him :\

Thats true, Lavender. Like, how in SPM, you unlock Luigi in World 7.. But having to beat the game ALL OVER AGAIN is outrageous.

Maybe that is it. I was hoping it'd be kinda like in SM64DS. I guess they did it like this to add replay value or something.

Because they are still programmed to be talking to Mario.
That was a joke.

Perhaps you are misunderstood. The text changes from Mario to Luigi. Luigi (NPC) calls Luigi (playable) "me" for instance.

What the heck? You'd think I'd like seeing two Luigis. Does this tick me off because there seems to be some sort of "lazy job" vibe?

Whatever. Seeing as I lack a Wii, this is none of my business to begin with...
