I thought Sonic Crackers eventually became Knuckles Chaotix. Probably wrong though.
Fangirling over Luigi since 1999.

Hey, MEGABYTE, you didn't answer my question. Does Deezer have a copy and where did you get the copy.
Review copy.

With the technology they have now, they could have Mario and Luigi both in the game at the same time with a split screen as you guys do or do a force follow (where they cannot leave the screen like on Mario Party for example).
Like I said, that type of gameplay is really terrible. Lego Star Wars uses it, and it's terrible. Lego Star Wars is just excellent in all other areas.
That was a joke.

Luigi was the 2nd player in Super Mario Brothers, Super Mario Brothers 3, and Super Mario World.  I wish Nintendo would not have dropped him out in 64.

Don't get me wrong, I haven't played Galaxy yet (I won it off ebay and the person just told me now that they won't be shipping it until this Monday when I won it last Wednesday... ugh.  If I don't get it this weekend won't be able to play it until December 13th), however I think Galaxy is going to be one of the best Mario Games ever.  However, I wish I could have my sister or friends tag along as Luigi.  I remember as a kid playing SMB3 with my cousin, friends, and sister and working together to get to World 8 and take on Bowser.  Man was that game a classic.

He can't properly judge it until he's played it, can he?
Remember that your first Goomba boldly you walk? When Mario touched that mushroom being brought up more largely remember that you are surprised? Miscalculate your jump that pit remember that it falls?

I'm sorry, but I'm gonna have to disagree strongly. (Chupperson)
How can you disagree with a split screen mode where the other player could jump in at any time? wtd is wrong with that? How can you not think that that'd be.....kickin'....

It might be better now if you have a HD signal coming from your system and a HDTV (Wii does not have HD of course) and can actually see what the heck is going on. For pretty much all the games I've played that use split screen 2P, the resolution and screen area are nowhere near high enough to give a pleasing experience. Besides that, what would you do? Race to the star, for every star in the game? I don't see how it would be used well.
That was a joke.

Actually Galaxy is leaning towards more a linear level and not the search for stars (although you still get stars).  In the next game they could wipe out the whole get the star mentality and work towards a get to the end of the level mentality that was in the originals.  (Note: I am not advocating changing Galaxy, I just think there should be a coop Mario game).

In fact what is with making only one Mario game per system anyways.  I would love to see a second Wii Mario game.

When was there ever a co-op Mario game aside from Mario Bros.?
That was a joke.

Ah, so it's the visuality that your worried about. But it's not that bad. I mean, there are some great games that have alot of split screen in them.
Imagine the best single player game you can, and then picture your friend playing at the same time, helping you, or controlling the enemies(million dollar idea).
I'm thinking mostly of Zelda here(imagine the WW fighting system multiplayer), but Mario would be pretty cool too.

A split screen wouldn't be necessary. Just have them both in the same screen. I think having a system somewhat like the old TMNT games might work well; where both characters are in the same screen, and the screen doesn't scroll until both players go in the same direction.

That works in 2D, not so much in 3D.
That was a joke.

There are 3D games like that.  Most recently, Spiderman: Friend or Foe.  Though that doesn't necessarily mean that it translates well to platforming games.  Of course, platforming in general doesn't work as well in 3D as 2D.
