Looking back at Robin Hood, something about it seems off, but I didn't care back then just because of all the animals. Most of all I liked Prince John (especially his laugh, AH-haaaa) and Sir Hiss.
Plus, Pat Buttram's voice is recognizable anywhere. I had newfound respect for him when I saw him in "Green Acres" as Mr. Haney with the same voice and coming up with outrageous things to sell, mostly because he was even funnier in that show.
I like Lion King 2 a lot, even though I gloss over a lot of it like a couple of the horrible songs, Nuka, and how overprotective Simba is. I just watch it for Kovu and the two songs "We Are One" and "Love Will Find a Way".
Answer to how you can make a sequel to a true story: you can't, unless there was some other amazing true story to come later. They just invented new storylines for Balto and company. And I hated both of them. Balto 2 at least looked gorgeous and I really like how Aleu looks, but I couldn't get into the spiritual storyline. Balto 3 I wish I could forget, seemed very generic, and Stella definitely brought down the film even further. So although Balto 2 botched its storyline, at least it was more daring. Balto coming to grips with airplanes being the new mode of transportation wasn't anywhere as dramatic as I thought it would be.
I seem to remember people were making a big deal out of Sam from LotR being the voice of Kodi though. Mm, okay job I guess.
By the way, Bobby in "A Goofy Movie" was voiced by Pauly Shore. I guess as long as he's a voiceover, he doesn't grate as much. Honestly it's been so long that I don't even remember what this weasel or weaze thing is anymore. The only thing about Bobby I remember is "the leaning tower of cheese-a".
