Huh. What I'm amazed about is that the ceiling apparently has collision data... unless it's just what bats and Ceiling Surprises cling to, and Luigi can touch it as well...

Interesting. It's difficult to tell from the video, but I don't think the canvas kind of effect or shader or whatever is present on the Mario painting there.
