So many poison mushrooms in Mario Chat...

He could definitely stand to be less confrontational. Some people like non-DKC games, deal with it bro. Jungle Beat raping elements from Rareware games doesn't stop it from being fun.

He also allows himself to be trolled by obvious trolls.

Putting aside personal preferences and politeness, or lack thereof, I'm pretty sure lexc's recent spree in Mario Chat counts as flooding. And frankly, I'm glad someone is actually paying attention to that sort of thing.

PaperLuigi · « **Reply #93 on:** March 15, 2011, 11:38:53 AM »

Yeah except other members were responding to lexc123's topics and having fun.

Mr. Wiggles · « **Reply #94 on:** March 15, 2011, 12:08:41 PM »

That seems a lot like the Steven9wii threads from some time ago. Some were having fun, while others were annoyed. But in lexc's defense, those seemed like legitimate, if shallow topics. Steven's stuff was complete nonsense.

Now he's renaming threads he doesn't find named to his satisfaction. Christ on a cracker, Chef, stop meddling!

Turtlekid1 · « **Reply #96 on:** March 20, 2011, 01:58:49 PM »

He renamed one thread to fit a more general purpose.

How is that different from moving "Hi-Def Mario"?

Lizard Dude · « **Reply #97 on:** March 20, 2011, 04:56:53 PM »

It's not. Both pointless meddling.

The Chef · « **Reply #98 on:** March 20, 2011, 06:05:30 PM »

I'm beginning to question how serious LD is about these matters.

ShadowBrain · « **Reply #99 on:** March 20, 2011, 06:13:21 PM »

I don't really want to be a mod, but I still think I'd be a pretty good one if I was. Unassuming, at least.

How To Be A Good Mod
1) Do nothing
2) Congratulations! You're a good mod!

How To Be A Bad Mod
1) Lock some threads
2) Change the titles of threads
3) Split posts from threads into other threads
4) Maybe ban some people
5) Congratulations! You're a bad mod!
6) Remember not to stop your meddling, otherwise you might accidentally become a good mod

Why do we have mods anyway?

What if a disgruntled troll began posting Holocaust porn all over Fungi Forums?

How To Be A Good Mod

Impossible. Once you have that title, you are automatically either useless or on a power trip. No exceptions.
