Oh my stars and garters, Konami is bringing the legendary six-player X-Men arcade game to XBLA/PSN. The sound of Colossus using his mutant power will haunt my brain once more. (Actually it never left.)

This game also had one of the most bangin' soundtracks of all time (of all time!).

Go and save the city!

Remember to dress up when you play it. Show some respect!

Oh my lord YES. I used to play this all the time at the local pizza joint. Dibs on Nightcrawler!

We HAVE one of those machines right here in my school's lounge. O_O

I hope it has 6 player support.

I heard about this on hard news

Love this game.

As young kids, two of my friends and I, spent what seemed like an ungodly amount of money and actually beat this game.

X-MEN. WELCOME TO DIE.

I hope it has 6 player support.

It definitely will online.

As for local, PS3 supports up to 8 controllers naturally so that's no problem. I don't know what 360 will do. It's theoretically possible: RB3 is 7-players local, but I've never seen a game access more than 4 regular controllers at once.

I've never played it or heard of it, but it sounds like a good game for Jim, Black Mage, Lizard Dude, TEM, me and Solid to play.

I hope this isn't a download-able exclusive :\

Chupperson Weird · « **Reply #9 on:** October 26, 2010, 03:41:52 PM »

Yes, it is. It will be download-only.

WarpRattler · « **Reply #10 on:** October 26, 2010, 05:40:01 PM »

I don't know why nensondubois was hoping a game that's probably going to cost $10 would be available on a disc at release.

bobman37: Hmm, that's funny. Only 1 of those 6 people plays 360 EVER.

nensondubois: Welcome to 2010. I hope you enjoy your stay.

Hey man. I legit can't afford to have an xbox at college. Otherwise I'd still be gamin' it up hardcore, which I'm still doing, just PC-style for now.

This is coming out next week! On 360. For PS3 it comes out in... February. LOOOOOOOOOOL!!! I guess they don't call it the X-Box for nothing!

Word on the street is that they're including the Japanese version of the game too, which had powerups (??!).

Download-exclusives shouldn't exist until everyone in the world has access to broadband.
