It's still kinda generic, but I've always liked Terra. It's still Earth, but it sounds cooler because it's another language (and because it's Final Fantasy). Along with Luna for the moon and Sol for the sun.

"Water" would be better since there is a lot more water on the surface than land/terra/Earth.

Surface, yes, but we're still mostly rock.

Still, that tiny bit of water is pretty dang important.

(the littler one is the amount of fresh water)
