Hey, peoples, i'm sure i can't be the first person to have this stupid idea, but i can't help but wonder if the Mario world has a few subtle drug references.  all this stuff about mushrooms, those sweet, succulent magic mushrooms... what about those fuzzies in Yoshi's island that turned the world into a tripped out wobbly mass of colorful confusion?  call me crazy [no really, go for it], but shigeru miyamoto seems like the kinda guy who had lots of lysergic escapades back in his day.  and what the [****] was super mario bros. 2 all about?  i know it was originally based on a different game, but the whole idea of that insane dream sequence complete with transvestite dinosaur-looking things, what can i even say? obviously the minds of the game designers are just filled with wild creativity, some of the things i mentioned though always struck me as kind of odd.  i have flashbacks [don't do drugs, children] sometimes just messing around in the special world in super mario world.  i don't know, i'm probably just nuts.  what are your thoughts?

I completely agree with you! I think that when Shegiru Myamoto created the world of Mario Bros., he and many other of his companions were on drugs...

The same idea goes with Alice in Wonderland... (Super Mario Bros. was based on that story, you know...)!

Mama mia! It''s-a me, Mario Maniac!
People who like video games should also like Nintendo. People who don't like Nintendo obviously don't like video games.
