Look it's simple,Mario's older than Luigi by at least a year,probably 3. In yoshis Island,they -had- to make them twins for the plot. It just woudn't work out if luigi wasn't born yet!!! Then they wanted to go back to the good ol' Big Bro Lil' Bro theme so no matter how screwed up it made everything nintendo did it as it is the Mario way.

Look as I said there must be at lest 1 year dirffence i said 3 but a least 1. Nintendo of America said there was a 1 year dirfence yet Nintendo of Japan said 3. I wounder witch is right?

no!!! mario is older!! it says so everywhere!!!  there.  now 1 more than half said mario is older.  i'm new, by the way.

Then let me even it out. I say they're twins. Mario came first. that makes mario older, even if by a few minutes. It makes perfect sense. And for the record, Luigi didn't get to be taller than mario untill Mario 2. even in pictures.
