Wrecking Crew 98?

I finally did manage to find a copy of Wrecking Crew 98 the other day.  (Don't ask me where.)  Not a bad game, though perhaps a little less polished than some of Nintendo's other puzzlers.

Has anyone else played this game? If so, do you know how to make those little paintbrush thingies that they show in the credits to appear (not to mention the "crowd barriers" and construction poles)? I know I've seen the paintbrush once or twice, but I don't know how it got there.

Never played WC98 but I despies the original nintendos.  The build mode doesn't seem to work and I can't get through the doors.  Maybe someone else is good and can give instructions on how to play properly(I bought mine used)

Heheh, the best thing I ever got was a hovering masked guy that shoots stuff.
I think they explain the enemies in the "training mode," but I am unable to translate it with my current Japanese skills.
