Author Topic: Super Mario Bros. 2 enemies in Inspector Gadget!! (Read 4532 times)

Do you remember the old japanese cartoon Inspector Gadget? A number of Doki-Doki Panic enemies appear in the show randomly, Ive seen Ninji's, Bob-Ombs and one episode where the bad guy, Dr. Claw, sends out the three headed snake guy (I think his name is Tryclyde in SMB2) to get rid of Inspector Gadget. This is because the Japanese brodcasting company that made inspector gadget also made Doki-Doki Panic! I know for shure that in the Christmas episode Gadget falls in a bin of Ninji dolls (but they call them ninja-pigs in the show). I dont have a pcture, but I will try to find one, soon.

i think i remeber an inspector gadget cartoon but i dont know if its the same one. it doesnt sound like the show im thinking of. did it have exploding messages?

Are people around you aware that Mario is a touchy subject?

I think theres only one Inspector Gadget series, I remember most is near the begining of every epeside the chief guy would give gadget a secret note that wouls self destruct and he would allways blow himself up with it somehow.

yea that's the one. i havent seen it in about 8 years and i was only 6 and though played mario, i wouldnt have noticed.

Japanese Inspector Gadget cartoon? I only remember the American version...I never even knew there was a Japanese version of that show!

Anyway, if there really are Doki-Doki Panic/Super Mario Bros. 2 enemies in the Japanese version...then wouldn't the company that made the cartoon have to get licensing rights from Nintendo?

It's definitely not Japanese. Inspector Gadget is a spin-off/parody/cartoon version of Get Smart. Get Smart is an American show.
