Umm... I noticed one thing wrong with CashCrazed's list... and that is, they're all Chocolate Island, not Choco Mountain.

There are 2 categories for the large ? blocks.

Those in World 4,
and those in bonus areas that have Tanooki suits and other stuff.

The former I'll have to play through to see. The latter? Hmmmm...

5-2, 6-3, 6-9, 6-10... I know there are more... I am really tired right now. I'll seriously ponder it tomorrow.

Ok.... here are my findings.

4-1: 4
4-2: 1
4-3: 0
4-4: 0 or 1. There is a pipe I can't get in.
4-5: 2
5-6: 0

That means there are either 7 or 8 in World 4.

The other category will take a LONG time for me to figure out. I have, in non world 4 levels, these stages with bonus blocks.

5-2, 6-3, 6-9, 6-10...

Ack! I am lasping... I know for a fact there are more!

How many ? Clouds with extra lives are there in Secret 5 of SMA3?

(There are a LOT more than you'd think... and I am only talking about the 1-ups you find in ? clouds here.)

The whole thing? No, but I do have 100s on at least 65% of the levels. I haven't played it very much recently. It's very strange... when the weather starts getting colder, I start playing Mega Man games like crazy. Every year. It's very strange.

If you're only counting the "hit the cloud, get an extra life" ones, I'll say 12. If you count the one that's and extra life within a balloon within the cloud, 13. If you count the bandit within the cloud...
Neh, I'm guessing you're not counting.
