Actually, in Tetris Attack Puzzle Mode, there are a few things you can do to make levels easy. One major thing though:
Restricting panels. Thses are the panels that cannot be cleared in 3s. If there are 4, 5, 7, 8 panels of one color, you cannot clear them in 3s.
4 -- Can only be cleared in a straight line.
5 -- This number gives away a lot of the puzzles. MOST 5 panel clears are NOT straight lines. They are usually Ls, Ts, or crosses! Set up these 5s as Ls, Ts, and crosses, and you'll get the answers to A LOT of the problems.

7 -- A 3 and a 4. See comment for 4.
8 -- These are VERY rarely cleared as 2 4s, usually a 3 and a 5.
This is VERY useful on the later levels.
Also, if there are only 3 panels of one color, and they are VERY spread out, you can assume that you must use MOST of your moves to put them at least in 3 consecutive rows.
F34GGKX5 -- A password to level 6-10, second set on MY game. This level is disappointingly easy.
(I am almost certain that password will work on your game. I looked in a Nintendo Power for a Password to a level once, and it DID work on my cartridge.)
Everyone has their own opinions, no matter how WRONG they are.
