That's a shame. I remember when I first played a SNES. My first game was Super Mario Kart. I stunk at it. :(

Yes, SNES controllers have very short lives. No, the Super Scope doesn't work with the NES even if you have a SNES-NES controller... thingy.

The NES and SNES have the same number of pins for the controller slot.

You have to know what pin does what because you may ruin your NES/SNES.

Me too. Every time my a friend comes over we can't play anything but Gamecube. Well, that's not true, you can pass the controller back and forth.in a 2-player Mario game like SMB. I wish SMB2 had a 2-player mode.

You can find an NES for cheap anywhere and SMB1, 2, and 3
