Well, you got the 666th and 777th replies.....Does that make you satanic, holy, or both?

Insane Steve, you're the math master of your class, right? I thought I remember a post-back-and-forth advanced math quiz a while back on some numbered-word story.

Yes, I am the math person in my grade. 790 SAT-M (Out of 800) in 8th grade. Actually, a lot of my accomplishments in math were in 8th grade.

I won every math contest in my grade (But only won one of them by one point. I kind of spaced out and missed 4 in a row on the 2nd page. Not the back, with all the hard questions, but the second page. Those questions should have been EASY.) I also:

Came in first in my region in a math contest

(Although I lost in the freakin semis in the speed round, my mathematical forte. I must have had a zone-out period similar to that one in the aforementioned contest. Sadly, the one to beat me lost 3-0 in the finals to someone else from my school whom I easily beat in the written portion. Hmmmmm...)

And "only" 14th in the state level in that contest. I got about 4 hours of sleep the night before, so that explains it. Of course, I came back and got 4th in the speed round. (In the state. They used the top 24 finishers for that contest. At least this time, the person who initially beat me WON the contest.) Sadly, no one else from my school (We had 4) did better than 60th.

And then there was another contest (A written one taken at our school) Where I got tied for 4th in the state with a 38/40. (No one else at my school scored higher than 34.) The saddest thing is, the top honors were three 39/40s (One of which was the same person to beat me in the speed round of the other state math contest.) AND I EASILY COULD HAVE GOTTEN A 39, BUT I MISREAD MY OWN HANDWRITING ON MY WORK FOR ONE OF THE QUESTIONS AND PUT DOWN THE WRONG ANSWER! GAH!

I have atrocious handwriting.

There was really only 1 hard question (That took me more than 1 minute. I missed it too.) on that whole test. Something about adding really large exponents.

Yes, I am the school math whiz, and yes, I did get into a math "contest" on a story topic. (Which CC won because I was never taught logs in school. I could have scored higher on the previous 8th grade contests... but in 8th grade, I was NEVER taught radicals. Or factoring. I missed about 3 questons because of that.)

Ah well. enough about math.

I don`t suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it.

My best year was 7th grade, and I DO NOT work well under pressure, so I always lose math RACES.CashCrazed

Wouldn't it be cool if the forum supported this instead?

This format is cool!

Just wait. I bet I get the 888th reply too. And heck, why not? The 999th and 1111th replies too! I don't know about the 2222nd one, though...
Does anybody know what Nuomultra Microscopic Silicon Vulcanical Neosis is yet?? I do, but does anybody else?

Whoa, that was cool. How did you d---- oh wait, I don't want to know.

That would be a great format. And if you think I am crazy... CC edited it out.

(PS: Yes, Races are my major strength. In math class, I usually have my hand up 5-10 times faster than everyone else, and everyone starts saying things like:

"Whoa, how did you get it that fast?"

Seriously, I am ungodly fast in math.)

I don`t suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it.

Heh... that had me wondering for a minute, until I realized all you did was make a new row and cells. I have more posts than you, though... so give me like 8 Mushrooms under MY name!
Come on, tell me the secret... I just want to do one thing...

Heh... we replied at the same time AGAIN.
Do you know why it keeps switching between alternating shades of grey and all one shade of grey on the individual posts?
That was a joke.

No, you would have 5, but they would be all 1-up mushrooms.

That IS a bit of an eyesore to be an all-member format, though.

Also, look at this. It seems this forum used to have some sort of UBB code, and this is part of a help file called "post_help.asp" that was left.

Yes, it looks like a slightly better version of TUNMB. (Which is not U, so why do they put U in the title? It should be "TSHTRNMB", The Somewhat Hard To Read Nintendo Message Board".
Well, I have to get off for now to go practice Violin... so if you're still here in about 45 minutes, I'll see you then.
That was a joke.

Regarding your last post, about the help file, that's obviously why those smileys are still floating around.
That was a joke.
