Has anyone heard news recently of Bowser being defeated for god and never coming back? I know it's an unreliable source, but my friend's brotehr read it online that miyamoto said bowser was done for. That's a little disturbing. Also, and i beleive this even less, seeing as how it was printed in an *** Box magazine, but it appears that according to the new Prez over at nintendo, the company is planning to go third party like sega in 3 or 4 years. OUTRAGEUOS! How absurd! I know it's probably worthless gossip, or even if it isn't, it won't happen, but Nintendo and third party do not go together! nintendo is teh reason that other developers go third party! It's amazing the kind of trash you hear on the internet, and alot of them are stupid people assuring themselves of their consoles superiority, like the whole third party thing, or this once i heard a rumor that there was gonna be a "mature" zelda game for PS2 seeing as how the GC one was a preschool game. Right...well, i have to go and change the locks on the safe thati keep my mario sunshine and zelda preorder slips in...

Why in the world would you believe anything in an XbOx magazine? It's all crud! And, at least for the time being, Bowser's a ghost trapped ina painting.

I never said i beleived it, i was making light of the sheer ridiculousness of the statement, and as for bowser, that wasn't actually him in the painting, king boo was wearing a bowser suit, adn i would like to know how the spirit of bowser can be trapped in a painting when only the head of a suit made to look like him was physically put through the portrificationizer. And anyways, while they did mention in Luigi's mansion that perhaps king boo had "revived" bowser, this was most likely a translation mix up or something, because last i remember, bowser wasn't killed at teh end of paper ario. it wasn't even that violent of a defeat.

Acually, there was no translation mixup, it is possible to revive someone even if they aren't dead. Trowing cold water is a good way to REVIVE someone who is unconsious, or asleep. Get it?

Well. I always did think it was kinda gory how you blow Bowser's head off... but are you sure that wasn't him? It somehow doesn't feel right not having Bowser at the end of a Mario Game... even if it is a Luigi Game.. heh heh GASP but wait, maybe it was already Bowser being done for! Gasp again!!

I just had another strange thought! Maybe King Boo saw that Bowser was no longer invincible after losing the star rod and took his SOUL or something! That would explain why only the head was needed for the portrificationizer! Man, I must be tired.

i don't think that was the real bowser though. I mean, as we all know bowser's height has changed where it's appropriate, but i mean, come on, he was like 30 feet tall! last i checked, bowser couldn't summon exploding spike balls of doom, but then again he has done strange things in the past, and one does do some interesting things if possesed by a ghost. But no, i'm sure it was a suit, they say so just about anywhere i've read (magazine's, player's guides, etc.) And why would bowser need king boo to revive him? maybe that word was a little off, but the context they use it in hints strongly at bringing someone bavk from the dead, not simply waking them up. And why did't king boo try to take bowser's soul before he had the star rod? he was just as uninvincible then. Maybe it was this whole "hatch your evil sceme when you **** well feel like it and not as soon as it's ready" timing thing that seems to be all the rage these days...

In lots of movies and such dealing with people being possessed, their bodies do weird things that they couldn't do normally. Maybe King 'Boo' was using Bowser's actual body as a suit. Hmm?

You know what i think? I think it's a suit. I think bowser is off planning his next attack on the mushroom kingdom. PLus evidence in mario sunshine will clear up bowser's well being, has anyone heard who the villian is in that game? It could prove that bowser is still alive, or it could prove that he's gone, it's all how you look at it. If anyone isn't adverse to spoilers, i could tell you. I personally don't care about spoilers. just playing the game is more than enough enjoyment.

Oh for cryin out loud! it's king boo in a bowser mech suit. bowser is alive. nintendo would have no reason to kill its most popular villain.

well put, comrade, but you may be wrong about nintendo holding on to it's most popular things. miyamoto is afraid to use things in his games too much. he doesn't want people to feel bored, or that the next game in the series is just the game before with a few new features. I know it's cool to constatnly reinvent things to keep them fresh, but, i mean people like to see the classic villians, items, songs and characters that got tehm hooked in the first place. Same reason why miyamoto has left gannon, zelda, and the triforce out of some of the recent zelda games, and none of tehm have taken place in hyrule.

Well, it's still weird that Madame Clairvoya said she thought Mario had soundly defeated Bowser (that's what she said, right? I haven't played LM in a while). But now I guess it was a suit, because Bowser was dark and hollow inside. Unless it's some virtue of his black magic... after all, he could fall into boiling lava (SMB1) and ...revive... and plus, spike balls of doom are cool!! :-P

It sure gets boring having the same signature all the time. See what I mean?

Oh yeah, and I think Evil Mario is King Boo anyway because King Boo was blue with red eyes and E.M. is blue with red eyes. Details are important, see?!
