Do you know what we're doing by arguing like this? We're REENACTING the forum war! Don't you remember the events?

First we discovered secrets, then I made the SOTFSK, then we argued over the secrets, then people terrorized the forum with them, then everthing became a huge mess, and after a few month we cleaned up the mess, and here we are.

Now that people have discoverd more secrets, we began bringing up the old days of the SOTFSK, and then I brought the SOTFSK thread back. Now we've started arguing about this again! Sure enough, if this keeps going like it this, some sadistic morons(people like Xizer and kirby_101) will see these things we're arguing about and terrorize the forum, and it will go downhill from there. Believe me, history WILL repeat itself if something is not done soon.

Ya in my oppinion, like it or lump it, Disco was the only good thing that came from the 70's. Well, that and Star Wars/Trek and maybe lava lamps :)

Star Trek is from the 60s. The first Star Trek movie was made in 1979.
Now, Star Wars... yes, I suppose it's from the 70s, but only the first movie was made in the 70s.
Hey Frostbite, was that true, or sarcasm? Just wondering.

And I don't even really care about the SotSFK anymore. I just want to wash my hands of it.

I vote we delete this topic, but not shut down the forum. Oh, if only you longtime members hadn't terrorized the board with this html. Not that I'm blaming you or anything. Anyway, we should find some way to hide this in a secret sort of link.

I don't get the Sci-Fi channel either.
I'm pretty sure Motown has been around since at least the 60s. Not positive, though.

I don't think David really meant he wanted to shut down the forums.

Anyway, I think I'll vote close. Nothing good is coming of us just sitting around arguing what to do with this, and if we sometime need to say something on the SotSFK thread, we can just post anyway, or we could move this into a secret forum.

I'm not trying to cheat anyone here, O holder of my favorite signature. Chupperson said, ". . . I don't even really care about the SotSFK anymore." To me that says, "My vote doesn't matter because I don't care. Do what you will." Perhaps I interpreted what he said incorrectly; if so, I'm sorry.

Also, I hope you didn't misunderstand my "Need to Vote Delete" category. In light of all this "arguing" I was trying to add a little humorin other words, it was a joke.

No one decided that for certain, but I do think it'd be best to avoid such a thing. A lot of the controversy of this topic arises not from the Special Powers themselves but from people being arrogant about them. Counting only the votes of "members," who are titled as such because of the problem I just mentioned, only adds to it.

I appreciate your optimism (truthfully), but I do not think David threatened to shut down the forums for fun of it. What is saving us, I think, is this remark of his: "If I had the time, I'd look into it." Either way, I honestly don't feel it's worth risking, even if keeping this topic is only a tiny risk.

Anyway, I think I'll vote close.
