I can understand that you would not like all of this bickering, Sapphira, but SOTFSK was a bad thing in the first place, as we who weren't here when it was created have come to learn. It must be dealt with. I, frankly, take this whole thing quite seriously. Maybe it is only a very, very small chance that David could actually shut down the forums, but if he does, I won't be laughing.

Lizard Dude’s sig is my favorite.

It somehow never came to the poster's attention that I can edit other peoples' posts so I should have ** Luigison and be a Common Member if anyone ever updates that stuff. Also, could someone turn the HTML back on in the second post?

Deezer is the only moderator and Fungi Forums will definately not be shut down.

I can still see the edited by line though you made it invisible.

Also, the forum I experimented on was already almost HTMLed to destruction. Seriously, this place was bad. But the admin said he banned EVERYONE who did that sort of thing anymore, but then I found out how to make a new unbannable member to reply to him.

Peersonally, I think this place should be rebuilt on another format. THAT'S the only way all this secret stuff can TRULY be put to rest.

Or the secrets could be told to everyone and we could all watch the destruction that's been created. Then the select few will rise from the ashes and create a better tommorrow.

If this place gets shut down, where will we all go?

Anywhere we want.  We could even make our own LEET board.  But, I like it here so I hope the Fungi Forums stays no matter what happens to the SotFSK.

Erm, never mind. Anyways, yea, it would be a shame to have the entire forums go because of this. A terrible shame. So yea.

Congratulations! You have just been blessed by the wisdom of Steve.

Is there any chance that the HTML could be turned back on, if everyone who knew the post editing secret would refrain from editing others posts?

So much for leaving this topic alone...
When was it *EVER* turned on? Those who use it just happen to know the secrets.

Personally, I'm GLAD this board doesn't have all the HTML crud. I find all the animated gifs and large images in people's sigs, etc. VERY annoying when they're there all the time. Plus this site is clean (and active), which is another reason why I like this place so much. :)

I *DO* wish we could make the text italicized, bold and underlined, though. But other than that, it's cool.

Jman, there will be no standardized HTML on this board. So quit asking about it. Leave this subject alone. I implore you.
That was a joke.

I'm just stopping through TMK, hadn't visited in a while...............

I like HTML here. It's nice to know that there's nothing you can't post due to it. On a lot of UBB forums, people complain about not being able to do certain things. Of course, people can also wreck things without any restraints.

But wait.............I gotta put something in Site disscussion............

Ahem. Only the people who know the HTML secret are entitled to it, if you see what I mean. Most people can't even use it well enough to use it safely in this type of format. I mean, look what irresponsible (or evil) people have done to the board in the past. If everyone were suddenly able to use that power, this place would be a total wreck.
That was a joke.
