Okay, here's something that has been bothering me for months. I see "Super Mario Club" in the credits of all the new Mario games (and even Starfox Adventures), and yet I know not of what they speak. Does anyone here know?
That was a joke.

I think it's the debug team at NOJ.

Hmm.
Well, that's interesting!
That was a joke.

But doesn't it list a debug staff in the same set of credits?

Debug team? Would that be the same thing as game testers? (Game testers being people who meticulously play games for hours on end, looking for any problems that haven't yet been found or worked out.)

I was given a personal tour of Nintendo of America's Redmond campus. At one point during it, I passed a hallway that led to the game testers' area. My guide said we couldn’t go down it -- even he wasn't allowed in there. It was closed to those who are hired to spend perhaps eight hours each day playing one level of one game (this may be an exaggeration), looking for bugs.

Being a game tester is dreary work, but it is also elite (because it means special access, at least at Nintendo). Thus it is a rather paradoxical job.

That's probably what I meant. Thanks

Yeah, there's Super Mario Club and the NOA Debug Team listed in credits.
That was a joke.

Actually, the SMC participates in almost every Nintendo game, and I think they have been around since the SNES.

I actually think Super Mario Club has been around before the SuperNES. On some of the early Game Boy games, I saw their credits listed. (Game Boy, as you all remember, was released in 1989. Super Nintendo was released in 1990.)

Being part of a game tester/debug team at Nintendo would be complete paradise for me! I would be able to test out new and innovative games before they were ever released to stores!

NINTENDO IS PARADISE!
XBOX IS HELL!

---

Nintendo is like a religion to me, and Shigeru Miyamoto is the God of it.

A world without Nintendo is a world without videogames.

Congratulation''s Nintendo, for over 25 years of videogame excellence!
People who like video games should also like Nintendo. People who don't like Nintendo obviously don't like video games.

Yep, that would be one sweet, cushy job.
That was a joke.

But once you find the bugs, you have to fix them. Didn't think of that, did you?

Dan: What about backwards?
Mom: I don`t want to go backwards.
Dan: But it is a way to go.
Mom: Not a way I want to go.
Dan: What about sideways?
Mom: What`s sideways?
Dan: Gaining knowledge, while at the same time losing other parts of knowledge.
Mom: Hm.
Dan: Diagonal.
Mom: Zig zag.
Dan: Diagonal zigzag.
Mom: Yes.
Dan: I over anylyze expressions too much.
Mom: Yes you do.

Think of Nintendo as Isle Delfino. Think of XBox as the house in Resident Evil on GCN(Horrible place)& the zombies are nintendo fans brainwashed by XBox...
